The City Lights

This is a commission I did for a friend! Tommy (brown fur) and Cody, looking out into the night. I know... this took AGES to finish... I don't even remember how many months it took me anymore. Too many.
ANYway!
These characters belong to ~NaniV, but I actually started drawing them for her before she moved accounts... which means that I've been doing this drawing for WELL over 2 months. Though I think it's closer to 4 or 5... I do kinda wish I could remember how long ago she asked for it.

This piece shows a lot of progress, I taught myself some new digital inking methods, LOADS of new coloring methods, read and learned from two coloring tutorials, and found some really cool stuff in Photoshop that made things easier that I never knew existed! I really like how this turned out a LOT!

Also, I just wanna say, Vicky, you got a deal! This was gonna be a cheap commish... but I got carried away... I'd normally charge a LOT more for something like this, but we already agreed on the price, so I won't change it! I'll be standing by my word.
